The History of the Lakers
The Lakers were innovated in 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and were first called the Minneapolis Lakers. In their early times, the platoon was a dominant force in the NBA, winning five crowns in their first 12 seasons. Led by stars similar to George Mikan and Jim Pollard, the Lakers were a model of thickness in the 1950s.
In 1960, the Lakers moved to Los Angeles, where they've been grounded ever ago. After many times of struggles, the Lakers reloaded in 2008 by acquiring Pau Gasol and winning two further crowns in 2009 and 2010. Also, the Lakers have gone through a period of reconditioning, but the ballot is always looking to add new gifts and return to their winning ways.
